WIRTS, Jack Vernon – 80, of Franklin Lakes passed away on July 13, 2012.
Born in Sacramento, California he lived in Franklin Lakes since 1975. He served in The US Army. For 47 years, he was an executive with IBM and The Conference Board. He was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, and served on the boards of The Valley Hospital and Arcola Country Club. Additionally, he was a member of the Chevaliers du Tastevin.
Beloved husband of 51 years of Virginia (nee Kane) Wirts.
Devoted father of Timothy Wirts and his wife Christine of Houston, Louise Riccobene and her husband Peter, Elizabeth Hunter and her husband Todd of Denver and Jay Wirts and his wife Karen of Shrewsbury, England.
Loving grandfather of Maximilian, Katherine, Joseph, Jack, Patrick, Henry, Ellie, Annie and Christopher Jack.
Funeral Services Wednesday 9:30 am at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament. Internment will be at Christ The King Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends Tuesday 4-8 pm.
